Emergency First Response
One of the things learned in previous training courses has been looking after yourself and others - the buddy system. The PADI Emergency First Response and First Aid course is designed to give you the skills and understanding required, in the event that you were called upon to help another in difficulty, whether it be at work, diving, or at home, you will be able to deal with the situation confidently.
The course is divided into 2 parts the primary care (CPR) section and the Secondary care section.
Primary Care (CPR)
Rescue breathing
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Serious bleeding management
Shock Management
Spinal injury management
Secondary Care
Injury Assessment
Illness assessment
Bandaging and splinting
The Rescue Diver course cannot be taken unless you possess a valid First Aid and CPR Qualification. The Emergency First Response course meets those requirements and provides training in CPR and emergency care.
